🔺Statistical Report on the Arrest of Students and Teachers in Iran

According to a report by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, between the end of September 2025 and the end of September 2026, at least:

🔹 315 students and children under the age of 18 were arrested.

🔹 59 school and university teachers were arrested.

🔹 8 children and students were sentenced to imprisonment.

🔹 16 teachers were sentenced to imprisonment.

Of the 315 arrested students and children:

👧 30 were girls

👦 285 were boys

According to the reported ethnic background:

🟢 88 Kurdish

🟢 36 Persian

🟢 30 Lur

🟢 24 Baluch

🟢 6 Arab

🟢 3 Turk

🟢 2 Gilak

🟢 1 Turkmen

The ethnic identity of a further 125 children was not disclosed to Hengaw.
